President's Welcome Letter
Welcome to the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc.'s
website. We are excited about sharing information about our organization
and our upcoming events and programs.
​Gamma Phi Delta is a professional organization of business and professional
women. Organized in 1943 in Detroit, Michigan by Elizabeth Garner and
Violet T. Lewis. Gamma Phi Delta is open by invitation to women in all
professions, business-related positions and vocationally trained occupations;
in addition, young women, who are still pursuing their educational goals as
undergraduates.

The Alpha Gamma Chapter, located in the South Atlantic Region, was
organized in Atlanta, Georgia on April 14, 2007. Guided by the motto
“Individually Unique… Together Complete," our sorority has programs established by our MEEPS, which is also focused on establishing scholarship opportunities, mentoring, improving our community, networking and leadership building.
